<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which is improved so as to control a small amount of discharge of fuel offgas when discharging the small amount of the fuel offgas as required in a fuel cell that operates while retaining the fuel offgas in its inside without circulating the fuel offgas. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a fuel cell in which a plurality of power generation parts are laminated via each separator. The system does not reutilize a flow of the fuel offgas supplied once to the fuel cell and then discharged by preventing the gas flow from circulating to a flow of fuel to be supplied to the fuel cell. The system has a fuel discharge path for discharging the fuel offgas, discharged from the anode-electrode side of each power generation part, to the outside. A discharge-side duty drive valve is installed in the fuel discharge path in order to switch between an opened state, in which the fuel offgas inside the fuel discharge path is discharged to the outside of the fuel cell, and a closed state, in which the fuel offgas is not discharged to the outside of the fuel cell, while being subjected to duty ratio control by a control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
