<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal receiving device switching audio signals being transmitted by a master unit by operating a slave unit which is receiving audio signals. <P>SOLUTION: The audio signal receiving device which receives audio signals transmitted from external connection apparatuses through a plurality of channels includes an audio signal transmitting scheme determination section which determines a transmitting scheme of the audio signal in the external connection apparatus on the basis of channel mapping information representing types of the audio signals transmitted by the external connection apparatuses.
