A hermetic compressor is provided to prevent refrigerant from being supplied to a sliding part of a compression element in starting. A hermetic compressor comprises(100) comprises a sealed container(11), a compression element(30), an electric element(40), and a temperature sensor(8). The compression element discharges the refrigerant of the high pressure to the internal space of the sealed container. The temperature sensor detects the temperature of the lower part of the sealed container. R32 is used as refrigerant. The compression element is driven in order not to drive the compression element over the predetermined number of rotations when the hermetic compressor starts. After the temperature sensor detects the higher temperature than the prescribed temperature, the compression element is driven to the higher number of rotations than the predetermined number of rotations. |
