<p>PURPOSE:To simplify structure and to reduce cost by suppressing the rotation of any one reel stand corresponding to a tape traveling mode by electrifying an electromagnetic plunger when traveling a tape. CONSTITUTION:In the forward or reverse direction traveling mode of the magnetic tape, oscillation and control levers 31 and 61 are moved to a forward or reverse position, and pressers 62 are respectively faced to a part 51c to 52c to be pressed at an S side or a T side backtension arm 51 or 52. Simultaneously, an electromagnetic plunger 55 is excited, an intermediate lever 59 is turned, the lever 61 is energized, the presser 62 presses the part 51c or 52c to be pressed forward, and the S side or T side arm 51 or 52 is energized in a clock-wise or a counter-clock-wise direction. Thus, a pad 53 of the arm 51 or 52 is pressed to a brake drum 7 of an S side or T side reel stand 5 or 5', the rotation of the S side or T side table 5 or 5' is suppressed, and back tension is respectively applied to the magnetic tape. Thus, structure is simplified, and cost is reduced.</p> |
