PURPOSE:To obtain a vertical deflection circuit substantially shortening a vertical fly-back period by adding another pump-up circuit on the output side of a vertical output amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A pump-up circuit 13 is provided which is provided on the output side of a vertical amplifier 5 and connected in parallel with a power MOSFET 6. Also high voltage V is applied by the pump-up circuit 13 to a vertical deflection coil 8 only during the time of the vertical fly-back period. Accordingly, the flowing direction of a current I(b) running through the vertical deflection coil 8 can be rapidly switched from the reverse direction of an arrow to the normal arrow direction during the time of the vertical fly-back period T. Thus, the vertical fly-back period can be terminated in a substantially short time. |
