PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition and a prepreg which are stable to thermal hysteresis at the time of production and storage/conveyance and are extremely excellent in storage stability; and an epoxy resin composition exhibiting excellent mechanical characteristics as a fiber-reinforced composite material.SOLUTION: An epoxy resin composition contains the following components [A] an epoxy resin, [B] dicyandiamide, [C] aromatic urea and [D] boric acid ester, and satisfies the following conditions [a] and [b], [a] when an epoxy resin composition is analyzed with a differential scanning calorimeter at an equal temperature of 100°C under a nitrogen gas flow, a time until a heat flow rate reaches a peak top after the temperature has reached 100°C is 60 minutes or less, and [b] when an epoxy resin composition is analyzed with a differential scanning calorimeter at an equal temperature of 60°C under a nitrogen gas flow, a time until a heat flow rate reaches a peak top after the temperature has reached 60°C is 25 hours or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
