PURPOSE:To surely inform persons of the operating direction of a cage by controlling the brightness of a boarding call register lamp by cage position signals from a cage position detecting means, operating direction signals from an operation direction detecting means, and boarding call signals from a boarding call button. CONSTITUTION:When the upward side direction of a cage 3 is selected, if a boarding call button 7 for the upward side is depressed, signals from both a cage position detecting section 5 and a cage operating direction detecting section 6 are inputted into a register lamp lighting control operating section 11. And when a boarding floor is higher than the cage in position, two upward side boarding call register lamps 8 are lit by the register lamp lighting control operating section 11 so as to be normally bright, and when the boarding floor is lower than the cage in position, one upward side boarding call register lamp 8 is lit by the register lamp lighting control operating section 11 so as to be reduced to one half of normal brightness, so that time required for answering the boarding call is thereby indicated on a simple manner. |
