A 4,6-O-hydroxyphosphorylglucosamine derivative of general formula (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R1 and R2 represent each hydrogen or hydroxyl; one of R3 and R4 represents -OCO(CH2)nCH3, -CH2(CH2)nCH3or -O-CH2(CH2)nCH3 and the other represents hydrogen; l represents an integer of 4 to 16; m represents an integer of 4 to 16; and n represents an integer of 6 to 18.
