<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of an element by selectively leading out the pieces of first and second sawtooth wave information that correspond to the scanning period of a reproducing head, D/A converting an output to impact it to an electro-mechanical conversion element and suppressing a ringing. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second generating parts of sawtooth waves generate W1 and W2 respectively. The sawtooth wave information W1 indicates a prescribed wave by a control pulse CTL and a head switching pulse HSW. The sawtooth wave W2 is extended from the end of the scanning period of the reproducing head AH to the front half of the non-scanning period, has the reversed wave form of W1, and has an apex falling from the apex of the wave W1. 1TP is a level to give a displacement by one track pitch. A selector 300, based on timing signals, derives selectively W1 from the scanning period and W2 from the non-scanning period, W2 is continuously outputted from the apex of W1, a tracking error is added at an adder 31, and the electromechanical conversion element 13 is driven after the D/A conversion. The rapid change in the wave form W1 is relaxed, and the suppression of the ringing and the prevention of the element deterioration are attained.</p> |
