PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an accident increasing a returned amount by occasionally comparing a deposit amount and the number of money sorts with that for canceling, and when the amount and the number at the time of canceling are larger, storing increment of paper moneys in a reject box of a teller machine. CONSTITUTION:A customer port 3 is arranged just under a shutter 42 of a device body 50 and various mechanisms such as a discriminating part 4, a depositing/drawing unit 18, a batch storing box 11, respective money sort storing boxes 8 to 10, a reject cassette 7 are included in the body 50. In addition, a discriminated result storing part 89 for processing canceled paper moneys is also arranged together with the discrimination part 4. A discriminated result obtained at the time of depositing paper moneys is compared with that obtained at the time of canceling and returning a deposited amount and the existence of paper moneys stayed on a carrier which is other than the deposited paper moneys is decided. The discriminated result at the time of returning is larger, excess paper moneys are separated and stored in the reject cassette. Consequently, the generation of excess return can be prevented. |
