PURPOSE:To obtain the same electrostatic latent image even against any developing device and to eliminate the failure of a hue by adjusting an irradiation light quantity of an erasing light in accordance with a distance between an electrifying position and the developing device offered to development. CONSTITUTION:Each developing device 4 is subjected to operation control by a developing device control part 9, and a signal of the developing device 4 operated by this control part 9 is outputted to an erasing lamp control part 10 for executing the operation control of an erasing lamp 7. This control part 10 is constituted so as to adjust the light quantity of an erasing light in accordance with a distance between an electrification charger 2 and the operating developing device 4. That is, charge electrified by the electrification charger 2 to a photosensitive body 1 is attenuated gradually even in the dark, therefore, if there is a difference in a distance extending from the charger 2 to each developing device 4, the electrification potential to a developing position, that is, an electrostatic latent image becomes different and a variance is generated in image density, therefore, while making an output of the charger 2 constant by adjusting the degree of destaticization, the electrostatic latent image in each developing position is made constant. |
