<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell capable of attaining a stable stack structure while easily carrying out a gas seal. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell comprises a square cylindrical support member 2 with a cross-sectioned rectangle having conductivity and porosity, a first inter-connector extending along an upper side face of the support member 2, self-supported film type planar unit cells 4 respectively laminated on other outer side faces of the support member 2, a conductive fused layer 5 intervened between the support member 2 and each unit cell 4 and fused with the support member 2 and the unit cell 4, a second inter-connector 6 for connecting air electrodes 43 of the adjacent unit cells 4, and an insulated gas seal 7 arranged to connect the first inter-connector 3 and the unit cell adjacent to the first inter-connector 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
