摘要

The magnetic recording medium is manufactured by forming the magnetic layer by coating the magnetic coating solution comprising the strong magnetic fine powder and binder onto the non-magnetic base material. The magnetic coating solution contains the fatty acid salts contg. the epoxy gp. of formula (I) of 0.05-5 wt. pts. w.r.t. the strong magnetic fine powder. In (I), R1 and R2 are each C0-30 alkyl; M is second family cpd.. The obtd. magnetic recording medium has an excellent durability and running stability.
