<p>Process for preparing cpds. (I) R' and R2 = H and/or Cl Intermediates for sympathicomimetic and hormone drugs. II (R' = R2 = Cl; 20 g), C5H5N.HCl (60 g), and AcOH (8 ml), were stirred 5 h. at 185-7 deg., cooled, dist. H2O (66 ml) added, extd. with Et2O (140 ml), the Et2O extd. with 5% NaOH (140 ml), and the NaOH extract acidified (10% HCl), filtered, washed and dried, giving I (R' = R2 = Cl; 18 g.; 95%), m.p.105-7 deg.</p> |
