PURPOSE:To carry out the preparation of warp in high efficiency by interlacing a thermoplastic synthetic fiber multifilament yarn to a specific interlocking number, applying a water-soluble sizing composition to the yarn with a direct warper and winding the yarn on a direct warping beam under drying with air flow. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic synthetic fiber multifilament yarn interlaced to an interlocking number of 10-60/m is supplied from a stock yarn bobbin 1, passed through a take-up roller 2, arranged in the form of a sheet, supplied to a direct warper, coated with a water-soluble sizing composition by contacting with a sizing roller 4, passed through a metering roller 6 while being dried at room temperature with air flow blasted from a blasting valve 9 connected to a blower before the yarn reaches a guide reed 5 and wound on a direct warping beam 8 to enable the preparation of weaving warp in high efficiency. |
