A rectangular formwork panel having an inwardly extending flange 4, Fig. 5 to support the wooden &c. panel member 5 has adjacent each corner a bracket 6 with holes or slots 8 adapted to engage pins 28 in supporting beams 30 when erecting a formwork for casting a ceiling. The pins 28 also engage the heads of props 20. These panels can also be used for wall formwork by connecting juxtaposed panels by keys 40, Fig. 8 in slots 15 secured by wedges 44 engaging slots 46, the key also passing through slots 60 in ties 58 engaging grooves 14 in the panels of the two opposed series of panels for both sides of the wall. Horizontal and vertical aligning tubes are clamped to the back of the panels by means of slots 16 in the panel frames. Four panels may be connected by angel members having slots such as 15 to make column formwork. |
