发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING MEDIUM FOR SUBLIMATION TYPE THERMAL TRANSFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of dyeing ability (sensitivity), heat resistance and image preservability by providing a dye receiving layer consisting of OH group containing vinyl chloride resin and hexamethoxymethylolmelamine. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving substrate A is coated with the dye receiving layer B consisting mainly of OH group containing vinyl chloride resin and hexamethoxymethylolmelamine. By heating from a thermal head 1, a heat subliming dye is sublimed and dispersed from the dye transfer layer 4 of a subliming transfer recording medium and the dye being sublimed is dispersed through the resin for forming a transfer layer in the dye receiving layer B of an image receiving medium and dyed thereon. Since the dye receiving layer B forms a cross-linking structure, it has a high heat resistance. After recording, therefore, the separability of the layer B and the layer 4 becomes satisfactory. Due to the high heat resistance, the depression of the layer surface is kept at a low level, light scattering is controlled and the clearness of images is maintained.
