PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the subject ultra-fine perticles useful as fillers, etc., for various electronic materials, etc., by emulsifying a curable silicone composition in the presence of a specific surfactant in a dispersion medium and then curing the resultant emulsion at a specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:A curable silicone composition is emulsified in the presence of an anionic surfactant such as a dialkyl sulfosuccinate [used in an amount of preferably 0.1-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. above-mentioned silicone composition] in a dispersion medium such as water and then cured at 10-35 deg.C (preferably 20-30 deg.C) to afford the objective fine particles having <=0.2mum average particle diameter. |
