<p>PURPOSE:To use a sorter for a console type copying machine for a desk top type copying machine in a simple manner by clamping a feed plate, supported rotatably by a support shaft attached to a frame, to this frame at a specified rotational position. CONSTITUTION:Checking height of a paper carrying-in part of a sorter 200, a spot existing beneath is moved up and down with a pin 25 after loosening a screw 26 of a frame side plate 91 before it is unified with the sorter 200. If so, a lower feed plate 11 connected with a bracket 12 to which this pin 25 is locked moves up and down as rotating. Next, with an up-and-down motion of the feed plate 11, an upper feed plate 15 mounted on the plate 11 moves up and down as sliding as well. At this time, both lower and upper feed rollers 14, 21 also move up and down. Therefore, a lower end of the feed plate 11 moves up and down and thereby a paper discharge part 111 moves up and down too, so these feed plates 11, 15 are moved to a proper position, and the screw 26 is tightened and the pin 25 is clamped to a spot in and around a long hole 22. Thus, no matter what the height of the carrying-in part may be, the discharge part 111 is adjustable to the height.</p> |
