PURPOSE:To facilitate character deformation so as to quicken formation of an except-inside character by performing coordinate arithmetic operation, and forming an except-inside vector data converted into a bit map data. CONSTITUTION:A control part 1 feeds a character code, font size, except-inside width, etc. as a parameter for a font display to a parameter memory part 3 from an input part 2. A desired vector font data is obtained from a font storage region 4 by reading the character code from the parameter memory part 3. Next by performing coordinate arithmetic operation(extension/ contraction) of the read vector data fed to an except-inside coordinated forming part 5, here an except-inside vector data is created and stored in an except- inside vector data storage region 6 further to perform coordinate arithmetic operation of character deformation, and an except-inside drawing part 7 converts the vector data into a bit map data drawn in an image memory 8 and displayed in a display part 9. |
