Motor driven peeler for fruit and vegetables - has sombrero shaped cylinder with lid housing rotary disc and cutting blades

The root vegetable and fruit peeler consists of a cylinder shaped like a sombrero in which rotates a rotary disc. The rotary disc has supports which may or may not be concave, on which the blades are attached. The flat part on the top of the lid is for locating part of the motor. Lengthwise holes beneath the cutting angle of the blades enable the peelings to pass through, into a collector. Concave protuberances are for re-centering the vegetable or fruit. Any lumps or projections are cleaned off by brushes on the cylinder walls and a timing mechanism is provided for regulating the peeling time.
