PURPOSE:To take a break test continuously and to detect which test piece is broken, by linking test pieces in series with chucks having hook members 6 and 7 and by making intervals of the hook members different. CONSTITUTION:Test piece 3 is fitted between chuck jigs 1 and 2 having hook members 6 and 7, and two other pairs of jigs of the same structure are provided to link test pieces 13 and 19 in series. To jig 1, loading weight 23 is fitted via arm 21 and to jig 15, feed screw 31 is linked. In this constitution, if test piece 3 is broken, weight 23 is lowered to turn on switch 26 and through the rotation of electric motor 25, screw 31 moves down to bring hook members 6 and 7 into contact, applying a load again. To know which test piece is broken, the movement extent of screw 31 until the load is applied again is different by making intervals of respective hook members different since there are possibly seven cases of breaking as to three test pieces, so that it can be disriminated from the operation time of motor 25. |
