摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an image which is excellent in both lightfastness and waterproof to be obtained by a method wherein hyperfine powder of transition metal oxides is contained in an ink accepting layer provided on a base material. CONSTITUTION:Hyperfine powder, forming constituent of an ink accepting layer provided on a base material 20, is the hyperfine powder of transition metal oxides. For instance, a cerium oxide, a zinc oxide, a titanium oxide, an yttrium oxide, etc., are exemplified. Its particle size is 0.1mum or under and is preferably within a range of 0.001 to 0.01mum. Further, an amount of the hyperfine powder of the transition metal oxides contained in the ink accepting layer is preferably within a range of 0.01g/m<2> to 3.0g/m<2>. Further, when required, a fluorescent whitening agent, a surface active agent, an antifoaming agent, a pH regulator, a mildewproof agent, an ultraviolet absorbent, an oxidation inhibitor, etc., may be contained in the ink accepting layer. An image which is excellent in both waterproof and light-fastness can be obtained thereby.
