PURPOSE:To enhance the absorbability, transfer properties and sharpness of ink and to eliminate the blur of the ink by providing a receiving layer from a composition based on a water dispersible polymer, collidal silica having a shape connected and/or branched in a rosary state and other particles. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is formed by providing a receiving layer to at least the single surface of a support and the receiving layer is composed of a composition based on a water dispersible polymer (A), colloidal silica (B) having a shape connected and/or branched in a rosary state and other particles (C). The polymer A is used in order to enhance the surface smoothness of the receiving layer and the close adhesiveness of the support and ink and an aqueous dispersion of various polymers can be used. Silica (B) is particles capable of being dispersed in a colloid solution without being settled and one having a long chain structure wherein spherical colloidal silica particles are connected in a rosary shape from an aspect forming pores and enhancing the absorbability of a ink or one wherein connected silica particles are branched and/or bent is designated. |
