PURPOSE:To enable safely performing the opening and closing tests of an intermediate stop valve (CIV) at a low pressure turbine inlet port by providing an auxiliary valve between a high pressure turbine and a humidity separator. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces each of auxiliary valves 17, 18, 19, 20 are provided on the piping which communicates from a high pressure turbine 3 to each humidity separator 13, 15. When the sectional area of the piping which communicates from the branching- off point of the auxiliary valve respectively to the outlet port of a high pressure turbine 3 and to the inlet ports of the humidity separators 13, 15 is assumed as 1, the pipings which are provided with the auxiliary valves are assumed commonly as 1/3, and the pipings which are not provided with any auxiliary valve is assumed as 2/3 in their sectional areas. Normally, the auxiliary valves 17, 19 are fully opened, the auxiliary valves 18, 20 fully closed, and 100% of steam volume is fed into the humidity separators 13, 15. In this condition, when the intermediate stop valve 7 at a low pressure turbine inlet port is controlled for its closing, the auxiliary valve 17 is fully closed, and the auxiliary valve 19 is fully opened. Besides, when the intermediate stop valve 7 at the low pressure turbine inlet port is controlled for its opening, the auxiliary valve 17 is fully opened, and the auxiliary valve 19 is fully closed. |
