<p>The actuator has a cylindrical body (1), closed at each end (7,9) and a hollow piston (2) moves in the cylinder under the action of fluid pressure. There is a helical guide (3) between the cylinder and piston to rotate it when acted on by fluid. A shaft (4) rotates, without axial movement, in one cylinder end (9) and extends into the piston recess. They are coupled so that piston rotation is transmitted to the shaft. The helicoidal guide has a helical projecting rib (22) engaging in a helical notch (23) in a collar (21) on the piston.</p> |
