PURPOSE:To obtain a liq. crystal panel having high display quality by forming color filters on a substrate at the inside and outside of a seal forming part. CONSTITUTION:A color filter 7 is formed in contact with the inside of a space B for forming a seal at the time of paneling and a color filter 8 in contact with the outside. The filters 7, 8 are simultaneously formed while leaving the seal forming space B. Since the filters are formed even around effective image elements, even when UV curing resin is applied, pressing can be carried out without producing difference in film thickness. A smooth layer with no gradient is formed near a seal and a liq. crystal panel with a uniform gap is obtd. |
