The endoscope (2) cleaner (1) has a vessel (3) for the cleaning liq. which is connected to the internal passages in the endoscope to be cleaned, by a tube (4). The cleaner includes a pump (7) which pumps the cleaning liq. through the tube. A control element starts and stops the pump. The latter is of a pulsating type and forces the liq. jet through the endoscope so that the liq. flows out through its open end. USE/ADVANTAGE - For colon examination etc., with a facility for cleaning both the endoscope and its optics, and the muscous membrane.
