PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device capable of preventing an operator who tries to perform picking work from falling effectively, and a picking lift including the fall prevention device.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device includes: a guard part 17; guard part moving means capable of moving the guard part to a proximity position and to a separation position; display means 18 fixed at the guard part and capable of displaying a display screen for presenting a safety condition of picking work to an operator; a pallet detection sensor 21; and a control part for controlling the guard part moving means and the display means based on a detection result of the pallet detection sensor. The control part makes the position of the guard part as a proximity position when a fork is not inserted into a pallet, while it makes the position of the guard part as a separation position when the fork is inserted into the pallet, and also, it makes a display screen when the fork is not inserted into the pallet and a display screen when the fork is inserted into the pallet different. |
