A Method of Measuring Ultra-Small Optical Losses The method relates to photometry, fiber optics, and measurement of ultra-small optical losses in other fields of optics. The object of the invention, improving the accuracy of measurements, is achieved by modulating the probing optical radiation at a frequency , forming a measuring and an optical channels, converting the optical radiation into electric signals, simultaneously and synchronously detecting said signals at a mismatch time , and integrating them for a time determined from the formula: , wherein .delta.zi is the relative instability of the probing radiation energy; .delta. is the maximum relative measurement error, and .DELTA.Fs is the frequency band of the electric signal.
