<p>The invention relates to indoles of general formula (I), wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a C¿1-6?alkyl or C3-6alkenyl group; R?2¿ represents a hydrogen atom, a C¿1-3?alkyl or C3-6alkenyl group, an aryl or ar(C1-4)alkylene group, or a C5-7cycloalkyl group; R?3¿ represents a hydrogen atom or a C¿1-3?alkyl group; R?4 and R5¿, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or a C¿1-3?alkyl or 2-propenyl group, or R?4 and R5¿ together form an aralkylidine group; R6 represents a C¿1-6?alkyl or C3-6alkenyl group and Alk represents an alkylene chain containing two or three carbon atoms which may be unsubstitued or substituted by not more than two C1-3alkyl groups, and physiologically acceptable salts and solvates (e.g. hydrates) thereof. Compounds of general formula (I) are useful in treating conditions associated with cephalic pain, in particular migraine.</p> |
