<p>PURPOSE: To hold air introduced into a hood at a proper temperature and humidity by arranging a tubular metal sleeve for passing air to a water tank which is fixed in the water tank and arranging a heater tower including a heater within the sleeve. CONSTITUTION: Air is introduced through the inlet 12 of a water tank 10, and the humidified air is transmitted through an outlet 13. A tubular metal sleeve 26 mounted within the water tank 10 is preferably cylindrical, and the core arranged on the outer surface is formed of an absorptive material such as paper or fabric. The introduced air is humidified by the contact with the core. A heater tower 29 is provided within the sleeve 26 in the arranged state so as to transfer heat with the inner surface of the sleeve 26. The cartridge heater of a heater arranged within the heater tower 29 is electrified through a pair of lead wires. The heat generated by the heater heats the water in the water tank, and the heated water is sucked up by the core. The temperature of the core on the water level is kept to raise the temperature of the air passing the humidifier, so that the air is held in the gas phase state containing a large quantity of liquid.</p> |
