<p>PURPOSE:To produce an I/O device matching a display position with an input position by forming a display part unitedly with an input part in the invented I/O device. CONSTITUTION:The I/O device is provided with a display means 23 for controlling a liquid crystal electro-optical effect like a matrix and displaying a prescribed image, a designating means 27 for designating a prescribed point on an input face using the display means 23 to input coordinates, a coordinate value detecting means for detecting the coordinate value of the input face point designated by the means 27, and switching means 21, 22 for switching two modes, i.e., a display mode for allowing the means 23 to display an image and a coordinate detection mode for allowing the coordinate value detecting means to detect the coordinate position designated by the means 27 and constituted so that the display mode and the coordinate detection mode are time- dividedly switched by said switching means 21, 22 and coordinates can be detected by point sequential drive at the time of the coordinate detection mode.</p> |
