PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthetic leather that has soft fabric hand and shows excellent resistance to peeling after recurring extensions by forming a synthetic resin coating layer on at least one face of the base fabric made of poly(trimethylene terephthalate) fibers. SOLUTION: A base fabric is a woven, knitted or nonwoven fabric made of poly(trimethylene terephthalate) fibers with the total yarn fineness of 20-300 deniers and the filament fineness of 0.1-5 deniers and has a unit weight 50-200 g/m<2> . The base fabric is coated with a synthetic resin such as polyurethane by the dry or wet process to form a coating layer thereby producing the objective synthetic resin. |
