PURPOSE: To minimize a problem to establish a compromised draft of the degree of comfort and the capacity in selecting various specified operational profiles in advance to maximize the degree of comfort while keeping the sufficient accommodation capacity of the elevator system to be served for all passengers. CONSTITUTION: When the building service in which the elevator car speed is improved to achieve the shortest flight time so as to be served for a large volume of traffic is provided in a most effective manner, the operational profile having high jerk rate, acceleration rate and deceleration rate is used for the elevator car allotted to handle the high traffic. When it is later indicated that the traffic is not high by the mean waiting time dropped to a relatively low level for such an elevator car, the operational profile and the operational parameters are returned to those of the regular pace for the reinforced degree of comfort for passengers. Thus, the elevator car is returned to the profile having lower jerk rate, acceleration rate, and deceleration rate. |
