PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip improved in quality and the working feeling by eliminating a rise of a load just before the insertion of an engagement part into a fitting hole provided in a panel is concluded. SOLUTION: In this clip, an engagement part 10 to be inserted into a fitting hole 42 provided in a panel 40 is formed of a base plate 13, a support 14, a block part 26 and plural engagement pieces 16. Each engagement piece 16 is connected to the base plate 13 and the block part 26 at each end thereof. Each engagement piece 16 is formed with a taper from a block part 26 side thereof to a swelling part 22 swelled outside at the maximum with an inclination for gradually increasing the outward swelling. A taper with the opposite inclination is formed from the swelling part 22 to a part just before a lock shoulder 24 to be locket with the inner periphery of the fitting hole 42.
