PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resolution of a displayed video, and to reduce a calculation processing quantity when forming and displaying an optional directional image designated by a user from preprepared image data. SOLUTION: An image data forming part has a means for selecting a calculating means from a plurality of calculating means for calculating a position on an original image corresponding to the position from designated position information on an output image, calculating the position on the original image on the basis of the selected calculating means, and writing color information on the position in a designated position of the output image. A display image forming part has a means for selecting a calculating means from a plurality of calculating means for calculating a position on image data corresponding to the position from the designated position information on the output image, calculating the position on the image data on the basis of the selected calculating means, and writing the color information on the position in the designated position of the output image.
