PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loader which is capable of operating without using an elevator and a push-up plate. SOLUTION: The loader 20 is equipped with a work mount stand 21 and a work transfer means 22. The work transfer means 22 is equipped with a horizontal moving means 23, a lift means 24, a horizontal slide means 25, a work suction means 26 which is energized downward constantly by a compression spring 262, a control means 27, a stopper pin 28, and a sensor 29. When the work suction means 26 is made to descend by the work transfer means 22 and comes into contact with one of a large number of works 1 stacked up in a container 212 on the work mount stand 21, the sensor 29 senses that the work suction means 26 comes into contact with the work 1, and the work suction means 26 is made to stop descending. The work suction means 26 is made to ascend while holding the work 1 by vacuum suction, moved in a horizontal direction by the horizontal moving means 23, made to descend by the lift means 24, and delivers the work 1 to a transfer device 70.
