PURPOSE:To cope with the interruption of the power source in the optical amplifier module. CONSTITUTION:An optical input is connected to one input terminal of the 2X2 optical coupler 3, the other output terminal of the 2X2 optical coupler 3 being connected to the input terminal of the optical amplifier module 4 and the output terminal of the optical amplifier module 4 is connected to the other input terminal of the 2X2 optical coupler 3. The optical signal of the output of the optical amplifier module 4 is outputted in the transmission circuit of the optical output with the 2X2 optical coupler 3 and further is fed back. Then even though the amplifier ratio becomes zero with the interruption of the power source in the optical amplifier module 4, one portion of the optical input is outputted in the transmission line of the optical output. |
