PURPOSE:To promptly stick a splice tape to webs while restraining physical changes of the webs due to heat effect and prevent trouble with a guide roll due to pressure. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic vibration is applied to a splice tape 3A and webs 3, 3' with a thermoreactive adhesive 3B interposed between the splice tape 3A stuck to both the rear end of the web 3 ahead and the end of the next web 3' and each of the webs 3, 3' and the thermoreactive adhesive 3B is melted at temperatures below the glass transition temperature of the splice tape 3A and the webs 3, 3' so that the splice tape 3A is stuck to the webs 3, 3'. |
