PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens adapter which can be shared by cameras having different thickness. SOLUTION: The lens adapter 1 is formed nearly in U-shape by a front part 3 arranged on the front side of a camera, wherein an optical element 2 is assembled, a back part 4 arranged on the back side thereof, and a coupling part 5 coupling the upper ends of the front part 3 and the back part 4. The coupling part 5 is composed of a first superposition part 7 provided nearly at a right angle at the upper end of the front part 3, a second superposition part 8 provided nearly at a right angle at the upper end of the back part 4 and superposed on the first superposition part 7 in such a state that the front part 3 is opposed to the back part 4, a slide guide part 9 coupling the first superposition part 7 and the second superposition part 8 so as to slide in a direction where the front part 3 and the back part 4 approach to or separate from each other, and a spring 10 energizing the front part 3 and the back part 4 in a direction where they approach to each other.
