PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that accommodates a rotor and a stator inside a housing and is capable of improving efficiency of cooling using a coolant flow for cooling the rotor and the stator on the basis of rotation of a fan member.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 accommodates a rotor 10 and a stator 30 inside a housing 40. When a first fan member 20 rotates together with the rotor 10; air outside a first cover 50 is sucked into the inside of the first cover 50 through each first inlet port 53 of an end surface 51 and is discharged to the outside from each first outlet port 54 of a peripheral surface 52. An air flow discharged from the first outlet port 54 is guided to the opposite side in the axial direction by a first guide part 55. When a second fan member 25 rotates together with the rotor 10; air around a second cover 60 is sucked into the inside of the second cover 60 through each second inlet port 64 of a peripheral surface 62 and is discharged from each second outlet port 63 of an end surface 61 to the opposite side in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
