发明名称 HYDROPHOBIC SURFACES COAL MIXED FUEL CONTAINING LIGNIN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
摘要 The present invention relates to a surface-hydrophobic coal containing lignin and a method for manufacturing the same, in which hydrophilic surfaces present in low-grade coal are reformed into hydrophobic surfaces through mixing with lignin. The surface-hydrophobic coal according to the present invention is characterized in that re-adsorption of moisture is suppressed and a natural carbon component unique to coal is mixed with lignin to exhibit a high calorific value. Re-adsorption of moisture is suppressed in the high-calorific surface-hydrophobic coal manufactured according to the present invention, and thus a high calorific value of dry coal can be maintained without change, with the result that the high-calorific surface-hydrophobic coal can be used as pulverized fuel for a power plant without change. Accordingly, this can improve power generation efficiency, compared to mixed burning of low-grade coal including inherent moisture, and also can achieve a reduction in emission of CO_2 of a power plant. Furthermore, an additional reduction in emission of CO_2 can be achieved by lignin which is extracted from biomass in order to manufacture surface-hydrophobic coal. Moreover, burden of an energy provider related to securement of biomass fuel attributable to renewable portfolio standard obligation can be overcome.
