摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a motor generator to satisfactorily output power for travelling on a long uphill and to regenerate kinetic energy satisfactorily upon travelling on a long downhill.SOLUTION: A battery cooling structure of a hybrid vehicle includes: an engine 10 and a motor generator 13; a battery 15; a motor generator control means 17 for controlling the motor generator 13; a cooling means 26 which is controlled by the motor generator control means and cools the battery 15; and storage means 36, 37 which store travel scheduled path. Information regarding hills on the travel scheduled path is stored on the storage means and, when there is a hill of a distance exceeding a predetermined distance on the travel scheduled path stored in the storage means, the cooling device 26 is controlled at a starting point of the hill or just prior side of the starting point such that a temperature of the battery 15 is located within a prescribed temperature range having an upper limit value less than the battery performance compensation upper limit temperature and a lower limit value of the battery performance compensation lower limit temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
