<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the jitter factor on a reproduced screen due to the signal stepped difference of the tracking error signal by decreasing an amplification factor of the error signal as mush as possible except a transient state such that the tracking is rapidly performed. CONSTITUTION:In a period after shifting from a still picture reproduction, or a fast forwarding reproduction or an unwinding reproduction mode to unmagnified speed reproduction a head and till a record track tracks correctly or in a consecutive short reproduction period, the amplification factor of the tracking error signal is in creased as mush possible, and except that period, the amplification factor is decreased as mush as possible. For that purpose, a signal generator 8 at a transient time is provided and with the signal of the generator 8, the analog switches 6, 7 are switched and the gain of the operation amplifier 2 is decided with a fixed ratio of resistors 3 and 4 or resistors 3 and 5. With this signal, a capstan motor is vibrated and the jitter factor of the reproduced screen is reduced.</p> |
