<p>The unit consists of a movable slide, fastened to the sewing table; a piping guide; and a control for the sewing procedure. The control consists of a plate, connected to the slide, which has adjustable control cams, and of electric micro switches, positioned above each other on the sewing table. The switches are operated by the cams in a pre-determined sequence, and in turn operate pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electro magnetic control members, to cause a forward or reverse movement of the slide, the cutting blade for the pocket aperture, and the clipping blades. The unit is for two-needle sewing machines, for the automatc sewing of pocket pipings on garments, and provides a completely automatic sewing process.</p> |
