In a modification of the warp machine of the main Parent Specification the weft thread to be inserted is taken in an elliptical path 233 by a two part arm 201, 208. The thread 5 passes through the axis 203 of the inner arm and to a guide 213 at the far end of the outer arm 208. The outer arm is rotated relative to the inner as it rotates by a belt 216 engaging fixed disc 204 and a disc fixed to the outer arm axle. The successive positions of the guide eye as the axle moves through points 219-225 are given by 226-232 on the path 233. The axle carries another disc 206 which via a belt 217 and disc 215 rotates guide 213 so that it retains its disposition to axis 203. |
