Pickling of wire coils - involving their rotational movement in the tank

The wire coils are subjected to a rotational movement during and after pickling. This is pref. effected by a revolving horizontal shaft over which the coils are slid. They may be eccentrically mounted on the shaft so as to be alternately partially immersed and partially be above the pickling solution during the treatment. A more evening pickling action results due to the liquor agitation and more uniform distribution on the wire surface is achieved.
