<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopwatch measuring a mean time interval of phenomena occurring several times within a certain time and counting the number of occurrences of phenomena within a prescribed time. <P>SOLUTION: The stopwatch is provided with a non lock type 1st switch SW1(1st SW) which makes turn ON when the objective phenomenon is generated; a counter 3 which counts the number of ON actions of the 1st SW; a timer 4 which measures the time from the 1st ON action to the last ON action of the 1st SW; a memory 5 which stores the number of ON actions counted by the counter and the time measured by the timer; an arithmetic circuit 1 which calculates the mean time interval of the 1st SW based on the number of counts of the counter and the time measured by the timer, and also processes the number of occurrences of the phenomena within the prescribed time; and a 2nd switch SW2 which makes the last ON action of the 1st SW recognize, and displays the mean time interval and the number of occurrences of the phenomena within the prescribed time calculated by the arithmetic circuit 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
