PURPOSE:To obtain an ink excellent in resistance to the solidification of ink and the clogging with ink and enabling the quickly-fixing high-precision and high-quality recording even to a plain paper by using a dicarboxylic acid organic amine salt in combination with a monohydric aliphatic alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink is produced by using, in addition to a recording agent and a liquid medium for dissolving or dispersing the agent, (A) preferably 0.1-10.0wt.% of an organic amine salt (preferably triethanolamine salt or triethylamine salt) of a dicarboxylic acid (e.g. maleic acid or citraconic acid) in combination with (B) preferably 0.1-10.0wt.% of a monohydric aliphatic alcohol (preferably ethanol or isopropanol in the case of plain paper).
